Works: roomba CHM... the new one

Okay, so I tried to clean out my old roomba chm gearbox a bunch of months back.  This worked for a little bit, but then the clicking sound came back.  Figuring I knew what to do, I opened it up and saw that something had gotten bent.  There was not way for me to fix this.

So I ordered the replacement part, simultaneously weighing the benefit of not actually vacuuming with the expense of time and money to maintain roomba.  Is this actually worth it?  (Despite it being fun, that is.)  The new part arrived quickly: a green gearbox---complete with brushes---to replace the old red one.

I immediately noticed the new brushes inside.  Woah!  The big brush is far more durable and easier to clean than the old ones.  I'm not sure if there's any actual difference with the gearbox itself, but this brush is far better than the old.  I still recommend having a small pair of scissors (I got some beauty scissors or something) to help clean the brushes out, but I'm way happier with this.  I think this brush will last longer than the two previous brushes I went through.
