Roomba CHM gearbox cleaned
I was about to order a new CHM for my Roomba. I had read somewhere this was what I needed to do if it kept saying "Please remove and clean roomba's brushes" even after I'd done just that. Luckily, I couldn't remember what the CHM was called (I still don't know what it stands for) so I had to look it all up again.
I happened upon this blog post, explaining that you can clean it out instead:
Please Remove and Clean Roomba's Brushes
This will definitely prove useful in the future when I need to look these directions up again.
I really love Dusty, my roomba, but I hate when she's not running properly. Each time I learn a new trick, it's wonderful, but it often comes at the expense of having a poorly-vacuumed floor while I'm diagnosing the problem or waiting for a new part to come in.
