New Baby
Mmmm, I have a new machine:) Yum! So far I'm quite happy with this baby, which is a T60.
I immediately got to work removing windows and purifying it with some sexy kubuntu. Since I'm not much of a technofile, DJ B-B-B-Bera got to work putting together plenty of the details for me. That man is pretty much amazing with the linuxes. He got around a lot of the issues and made it all sexy-like.
In case I ever have to do this on my own, though, I would definitely use the following resources:
www.thinkwiki.org and this page of initial ubuntu things to get sexed up.
Also, the ubuntu forums are pretty excellent.
But the credit for this belongs with Deb. Thanks Deb!
